The event is in collaboration with Mont Orford during a weekend of the Flambée des Couleurs. The energy, courage and strength of people with this disease are so great that this day will be ideal to honor them. The challenge will be under the honorary chairmanship of Josée Bélanger, soccer player of Canada's Olympic team.
This event is destined to high level athletes as well as amateur athletes and families. Defibrose consists in completing the greatest number of round trips between the base and the summit of Mont Orford, using a 4 km course with a difference in height of 589 meters, all between 9:00AM and 3:00PM. The participants will receive a bib according to their category (Junior 13-16 years old, Men, Women, Teams) and the number of climbs realized will be counted after each descent. It is possible to do it with your family in a very recreational way and at your own pace.
All the funds raised through this beautiful event will be used to fund the eventual discovery of a cure for cystic fibrosis.
